Teeth’s whitening is therapeutic form of getting back the brightness and whitening of teeth. The enamel layer of tooth is composed of hydroxyapatite crystals in the form of microscopic hexagonal rods. Since the enamel is completely porous thus the tarnishing agents easily get a chance to peer through it and enter inside the tooth. Thus the stains become darker and darker and the whiteness of the tooth faids away with time.

Thus it is here that tooth whiteners enter the picture. The teeth whiteners are basically nothing but tooth whitening agents like bleaching chemicals like carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide which get through the enamel of the tooth and stop the reaction of the staining agents. Also teeth whiteners help to remove wreckage leaving opens cracks which re later re-mineralized by saliva or sometimes by organic debris again.
